Reply within 24 hours · 7-14 day custom production · Export to Europe, China, Japan
Description
Carbide chip scrap consists of tungsten-carbide swarf produced during carbide tool manufacturing, machining (CNC milling, turning) and grinding operations. High tungsten content makes it economically valuable.
Accepted Types
- CNC milling chips (from carbide-tipped tools)
- Turning chips (from carbide inserts)
- Grinding dust and swarf
- Pre-sintering carbide-insert production chips
- Mixed metal-carbide chip packages
Recycling Process
Carbide chips are sorted via magnetic separation and XRF analysis, then refined chemically. Tungsten metal and carbon are recovered and returned to new carbide tool production.
Pricing
- Tungsten-carbide content (measured by XRF)
- Cleanliness (oil, water, mixed steel)
- Bulk density
- Current tungsten market price
